Advanced American Studies

We begin our study of WWII today with an examination of the rise of Hitler. We will discuss the failure of the Weimar Republic, Hitler's failed Beer Hall Putsch, and the rise of the Nazi party during the 1920's. We will also discuss his actions as leader, from the Enabling Act to the Invasion of Poland.
Assignment: Read text pgs. 443-450 "From Isolation to Involvement". Sequence timeline in notes (bottom of page 443).

Today's focus is a continued look at the New Deal.
